Hi, I’m Giulia!
I grew up in Florence, Tuscany.
Wine has always been a part of my life. At my home a great bottle from my Dad’s wine cellar and my Mom’s homemade food
were never missing from the dinner table.
Some years later, wine has grown from what was once a fun passion
to my professional career. Intrigued by the wine world,
in 2009 I enrolled in a sommelier course and passed all three levels.
After graduating with my degree in Language Mediation
(English and French Translation and Interpretation) at SSML Carlo Bo
my dream of moving to Paris came true. In 2010 I worked as a Wine Consultant in the ‘Ville Lumière’. This was my first experience
working as a professional sommelier in the restaurant industry.
In 2011 I completed my Master’s in Wine Marketing and Management
at the University of Florence and interned at a gastronomic communications agency.
Being the curious, passionate and dynamic person that I am, in the meantime I continued working as a Wine Consultant and my role became clear to me : to bridge the gap between those who produce wine and those who drink it.
Since 2013 I have been curating the wine list at Libreria Brac (a book boutique, vegetarian restaurant and wine bar). I facilitate complex experiences with wine that create special moments to remember: private wine tastings in unusual locations in Florence and Tuscany, creative food and natural wine pairings, vineyard visits and cooking classes.
I love food, I love wine and I love sharing these passions with others.
